Our faculty is made up of teachers who have a passion for teaching and working with children, and who strive to put their own unique and creative teaching style to good use in educating our students. Teachers are expected to be excellent in their own discipline; we employ a number of teachers whose specialties include language, mathematics, art, history and geography, science, and special education.

Immersion teachers make language comprehensible by using a variety of technique; visual clues, manipulatives, and concrete experiences combined with facial expressions and body language help to convey the spoken language. An emphasis is placed on building upon background knowledge and using it along with context to convey meaning. Language is simplified in terms of syntax, speed, and inflection in order to both emphasize key vocabulary and expand a student's ability to speak with clarity. As students progress in the language, teachers use linguistic paraphrase, exemplification, and literacy as tools for building language.
